John Carradine was considered one of the best character actors of all time back in his day. Some of his most notable work includes 1944’s “House of Frankenstein,” 1945’s “House of Dracula,” and 1966’s “Billy the Kid Versus Dracula,” in which he portrayed Count Dracula. In the second part of his career, he starred in mostly low-budget B-movies but has a hefty 351 television and film credits to his name. This makes him one of the most prolific actors of all time.
Having had a total of four wives throughout his lifetime, it’s no wonder he had at least some grandkids who would follow in his acting footsteps. His granddaughter Ever Carradine is one of his offspring who took after his career and has created quite a name for herself with productions like “The Handmaid’s Tale” and “Runways.” It’s not difficult to see the resemblance between these two Carradines.
Quinn Tivey: Grandson of Elizabeth Taylor
Elizabeth Taylor was one of Hollywood's biggest stars, and a few of her trademark features were her dazzling blue eyes and double row of eyelashes. Taylor got married eight times to seven different men and had a total of four children and nine grandchildren. Well, one of her grandchildren was lucky enough to score his grandmother’s good looks.
Taylor passed on her beauty to her grandson Quinn Tivey. If you put the two side by side, they have a nearly identical smile. Tivey is Liza Todd’s son and works as a trustee for the Elizabeth Taylor Foundation. We are sure that his cousins are envious of him!
Apple Martin: Granddaughter of Blythe Danner
Blythe Danner produced several clones, which, for the sake of her inheritors, is a win-win situation. Lucky for them, the former star of "The Great Santini" and "Meet the Parents" has strong genes in her. Apple Martin is only 14 years old, yet it’s apparent that she’s already rocking her grandmother’s stunning looks.
But Apple’s good looks don’t only come from her grandmother. As the daughter of actress Gwyneth Paltrow and the lead singer of Coldplay, Chris Martin, it’s evident that her good looks were also inherited from her parents. Apple looks like a carbon copy of her mother. But still, there are some notable similarities between her and her grandmother.
Bailey Willis: Granddaughter of Paul McCartney
Paul McCartney rose to prominence as the singer and bass guitarist of the Beatles back in 1960. The band became the most famous band in history. He has remained in the public eye, and by default, his family has received a lot of media attention over the years.
One of Paul’s daughters, Stella McCartney, has made quite a name for herself as a famous fashion designer. And Stella’s daughter, Bailey Willis, seems to have inherited a lot from her grandfather. And who knows, maybe she’s also inherited her grandfather’s singing!
Arthur Donald: Grandson of Paul McCartney
Paul McCartney has his hands full with five children and eight grandchildren, who were lucky enough to inherit their grandfather’s genes. If you didn’t know that Arthur was Paul’s grandson, you would have seen him and wondered to yourself, “Why does that guy look so familiar?”
Arthur is the oldest of McCartney’s grandchildren. He is the son of Mary McCartney, Paul’s daughter.
Stella Banderas: Grandaughter of Tippi Hedren
When you’re born into a showbiz family, you are almost always guaranteed to be in the public eye. Stella Banderas is the daughter of actress Melanie Griffith and Spanish actor and director Antonio Banderas. She is also the granddaughter of the famous actress Tippi Hedren.
While Stella did acquire many physical traits from her parents, it’s obvious that she looks very similar to her grandmother. The two have the same eyes and nose, which are some of Tippi’s most distinguishable features and the ones that made her a heartthrob during the height of her popularity.
Ethan Peck: Grandson of Gregory Peck
If you put a picture of Ethan Peck next to his grandfather, the late Gregory Peck, you might not be able to tell who is who, had it not been for the quality of the photo and that one is in color and the other in black and white. Gregory was one of the most famous stars of the 20th century. He was nominated for an Academy Award several times and won one for his performance as Atticus Finch in "To Kill a Mockingbird."
Well, his grandson Ethan may not be an award winner, but his good looks and family connections have also landed him some pretty cool roles. Rose Kennedy Schlossberg has inherited the famous (and cursed) Kennedy name and a whole lot of wealth. She also inherited one other priceless attribute: Kennedy’s good looks. Schlossberg looks undeniably like her late grandmother, and she also seems to have inherited her brains. Yep, this beauty is a Harvard graduate.
Conor Kennedy: Grandson of Robert F. Kennedy
A well-known Kennedy who’s made our list is Conor Kennedy. Conor is Robert F. Kennedy’s grandson. Robert was one of nine children to Joseph P. Kennedy Sr., the brother of John F. Kennedy, and Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy, a philanthropist and socialite.
Conor Kennedy received a lot of attention when he dated Taylor Swift for a short while. Unfortunately, he didn’t get to meet his grandfather, who lost his life in 1968 after winning the California Democratic presidential primary.
Theodore Howard Gabel: Grandson of Ron Howard
There are those people who look like their parents or grandparents when they grow up. And then there are those people who only look like their older family members when they’re young. The latter is definitely the case for Theodore Howard Gabel and his grandfather, Ron Howard.
Howard’s first job in show business was on "The Andy Griffith Show." Theodore looks so much like his grandfather when he was this age. Howard later turned to directing and has worked on films like "Apollo 13", "A Beautiful Mind", and "The Da Vinci Code". In 1975, he married a writer, and they had four children together. One of his children is Bryce Dallas Howard, Theodore’s mother.

Although his great-granddaughter hasn’t pursued a career as a writer, she has followed her own passions and made a prominent mark for herself. Dree Hemingway works as an actress and model. She is known for acting in independent films and shooting campaigns for major companies like Gianfranco Ferre and Salvatore Ferragamo.

It was actually Elizabeth who helped Naomi get a green card.
Naomi shared that her grandmother reassured her, ‘I’ll get you a lawyer, we’ll get you a green card, and everything will be okay.’ I came to stay with her, and I never left [California].” Naomi carries on her late grandmother’s advocacy work and does a lot of work with the Elizabeth Taylor Foundation. She also manages a contemporary art gallery located in Los Angeles.

His maternal grandmother, Anne Gwynne, was one of the most famous pin-up girls during WWII. Kirk Douglas passed away when he was 104 years old. He was one of the last surviving actors of Hollywood’s Golden Age until his passing. His grandson, Cameron, also seems to want to follow in his father's, Michael's, and grandfather’s footsteps. He started off as a singer and later switched to acting in Western films during the 30s. He had two children, Tom and John. In the second part of his career, he starred in mostly low-budget B-movies but has a hefty 351 television and film credits to his name. This makes him one of the most prolific actors of all time.
Having had a total of four wives throughout his lifetime, it's no wonder he had at least some grandkids who would follow in his acting footsteps. His granddaughter Ever Carradine is one of his offspring who took after his career and has created quite a name for herself with productions like "The Handmaid's Tale" and "Runways." It's not difficult to see the resemblance between these two Carradines.

One could probably tell that Alexa and Richard are related if one saw them from miles away. It's certainly not easy to follow in footsteps such as those, but luckily, her granddaughter Elettra Rossellini Wiedemann opted for a career in writing and modeling. She has written blog posts for Refinery29 and New York Magazine, and she may not have taken after her grandmother's career, but she certainly got gifted some of her fine features. Sadly, Elettra never got to meet her iconic grandmother, who passed away a year before her birth.

Clearly, acting runs in the bloodline, as is granddaughter Grace Van Dien, from his daughter's side, also followed in her great-grandfather and grandfather's footsteps.
She not only got her grandfather's acting talents, but it's pretty clear to see the striking resemblances between these family members. These are quite the footsteps to follow, but his granddaughter Samantha Brooks has already entered the acting scene before even reaching 20 years old. This is a great example of big shoes to fill for descendants. Like Francis, his granddaughter Gia Coppola is also pursuing a career in directing and screenwriting, but so far, she still has a long way to go. She not only earned his drive for creating movies but also got gifted his facial features and dark hair, as you can see pictured here, from when Francis was in his younger days.

The granddaughter of John Wayne, Jennifer Wayne, may not have followed the grandpappy’s exact footsteps in the world of acting, but she did opt for a career in the music industry. She may not be the sort of movie star that her grandmother was, but besides being a yoga instructor and graphic designer, she is also an activist for the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation. Brooke Shields, the granddaughter of Francis Xavier Shields, started acting at the age of 11 months and later gained notoriety for her role in "Pretty Baby," in which she starred at the age of 11 years. She not only got her grandfather's talent for acting, but she also got the bloodline's refined looks. It's easy to see why she has landed on countless "Most Beautiful Actresses" lists, and that's thanks to her grandpappy’s good genes.
Frankie Barrymore Kopelman: Granddaughter of John Drew Barrymore Jr.
John Drew Barrymore and his daughter Drew Barrymore all reign from the Barrymore family, which is kind of like a British-American acting dynasty that traces its roots to the mid-1800s in London. John made his acting debut at just 17, despite his mother trying to dissuade him from the career path by sending him to the military academy. Obviously, her efforts didn't work, as he went ahead and followed an acting career and made quite a name for himself and his descendants. Today, he has over 40 acting credits to his name.
His daughter, Drew Barrymore, has also followed in his acting footsteps, and his granddaughter, Frankie Barrymore Kopelman, is still pretty young and hasn't entered the acting scene yet, but with a name like that, what else is there to expect? Frankie did, however, earn her grandfather's blonde hair, and let's see if she follows the acting succession.

In his late 30s, he earned himself an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film for the flick "La Strada." His granddaughter Giada De Laurentiis did not follow his career in the showbiz industry, but she did at least get to earn some of his looks and his family name. Besides numerous awards in the world of acting, he also earned himself a Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2016 from President Barack Obama.
His most notable flick has probably got to be "The Godfather" and most recently "The Irishman." Julian Thicke: Grandson of Alan Thicke
Alan Thicke is a Canadian actor best known for portraying Dr. Jason Seaver on the 80s sitcom "Growing Pains." In 2013, he was awarded a spot on Canada's Walk of Fame. His son, Robin Thicke, didn't exactly take his father's acting talent, but he did garner a successful music career for himself. He has collaborated with numerous big names from the music industry, including Nicki Minaj, Usher, and Pharrell Williams, to name a few.
His son is still young, but it's pretty clear that Julian looks more like his grandfather than his father. We will have to wait and see if he follows in the footsteps of his father's music career or his grandfather's acting career. Either way, he has been blessed with a famous family name, so it would be easy for him to enter into either one.
