Jimmy Snuka

Jimmy Snuka was a Fijian bodybuilder who made the move to pro wrestling in the late 1960s. He first wrestled with the WWF in 1982. A year later, tragedy struck, and Snuka made a call to 911 for his girlfriend, Nancy Argentino, who had been fatally injured. He became the main suspect in the case, but nothing ever came of it, until more than 30 years later.

Snuka worked with the WWE sporadically until 2015, when his world was turned upside down. Even though Argentino’s body did show possible signs of physical violence during her autopsy, no charges were initially pressed against the former pro wrestler. But in September 2015, he was arrested and charged with other counts. However, he was found unfit to stand trial due to his deteriorating health, both physical and mental. A year later, he was sent into hospice, and in 2017, he passed away at the age of 73.
